Faith and Forgiveness

Romans 4, teaches us that we are forgiven of our sins through faith in God. It provides us with the example that even Abraham who lived thousands of years ago was forgiven by faith and not by working for his salvation. The verse puts it this way, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. – Romains 4:3”. May, God bless all of us and may we continue to walk in faith. Amen.

Not Ashamed

Paul tells us in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” But, what does that mean? Well, it should really teach us that we should be eager to spread the Gospel. The message that Christ died and rose from the dead for our sins is a message of hope and love. The Gospel or “Good News” is for everyone that believes or will believe. The Christian Jews can and are saved through faith and so can everyone else! May we all know him and believe in Him. Amen

Acts chapter 17 teaches us that it is a very noble thing to know the scriptures well. This means that when a preacher teaches something we should compare it to what the Word of God says to make sure it’s accurate. God is not a God of contradiction and what His Word says should be the final authority. May God inspire you to search His scriptures for truth. Amen

Rest in Jesus

In Matthew chapter 11 Jesus teaches that in Him we can find rest, and that His power is strong. But, what does that mean? It, means that true peace in life comes from knowing Jesus, and that He will carry our burdens. The true meaning of life is to love and know Jesus. We can only know God the Father if we know Jesus (Matthew 11:27). I am thankful for God’s grace and mercy and that He loves me enough that He sent Jesus to die and wipe away my sins. My God grant you peace. Amen
