Many people know John 3:16 and a lot of us could quote it, and the fact God sent His son to allow us through faith in Him to have eternal life. However, many of us forget the next few verses the fact is Jesus Christ came to save us from condemnation and give us eternal life. If, we do not believe we are under God’s, judgement but through faith God’s grace will rest upon us. Jesus is good He is God, God is light (John 3:19). Our deeds, works, actions are often evil (John 3:19) but God has promised that the dark stain from our sins will be purified and made as white as snow (Isaiah 1:18). Jesus, died and rose from the dead. The great fact of this is while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). The invitation is open as John 3:16 states that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9”.
